DescriptionThis human brain genomic DNA is highly purified and carefully isolated from human adult normal brain tissues. Evidence shows that DNA isolated from human brain tissues contains high amounts of 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5-hmC), a modified cytosine which plays an important role in epigenetic regulation of gene function. This DNA is suitable for genomic library construction and as a control DNA for 5-hmC detection.
