Western blot analysis of various lysates using HIBADH mAb at 1:3000 dilution incubated overnight at 4°C.
Secondary antibody: HRP-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at 1:10000 dilution.
Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane.
Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST.

The cells were counterstained with a-Tubulin Mouse mAb (dilution 1:400) followed by incubation with conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) Ab (dilution 1:500) (Green). DAPI was used for nuclear staining (Blue). Objective: 100x.

This gene encodes a mitochondrial 3-hydroxyisobutyrate dehydrogenase enzyme. The encoded protein plays a critical role in the catabolism of L-valine by catalyzing the oxidation of 3-hydroxyisobutyrate to methylmalonate semialdehyde.
