The CytoX-Violet™ Cell Proliferation/Cytotoxicity Assay Kit utilizes a special dye composition to measure cell viability, proliferation, and cytotoxicity in both adherent and suspension cells by measuring the activity of the cellular dehydrogenases. The fluorometric change of the CytoX-Violet™ indicator solution is directly proportional to cell viability or proliferation. The CytoX-Violet™ has only one step and is proven to be very simple, accurate, and yields reproducible results.
