JMJD1C (jumonji domain containing 1C) is a nuclear protein that is expressed in a variety of tissue. It can demethylate lysine-9 of histone H3, thus plays a role in the histone code and participates in transcriptional regulation. JMJD1C can also regulate cell growth during development and in chromatin regulation. It has been associated with certain types of autism. Two distinct isoforms exist as a result of alternative splicing.
Mouse monoclonal antibody raised against a partial recombinant JMJD1C, clone 3A8.
Protein A purified
JMJD1C (NP_004232, 2 a.a. ~ 100 a.a) partial recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26 KDa.
In 1x PBS, pH 7.2
Aliquot and store at -20ºC or lower. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Multiple freeze/thaw cycles may result in decreased performance.
For maximum recovery of the products, centrifuge the vial prior to opening the cap.
