BackgroundAOF2 (amine oxidase domain 2), also known as KDM1A, is a component of several histone deacetylase complexes; however, it silences genes by functioning as a histone demethylase. This protein contains a Swirm domain, a FAD-binding motif, and an amine oxidase domain. Multiple transcription variants exist for this gene as a result of alternative splicing.
DescriptionMouse monoclonal antibody raised against a partial recombinant AOF2, clone 2E7.
