BackgroundDOT1L (Disruptor of Telomeric silencing 1-like) is a histone 3 lysine 79 (H3K79) methyltransferase. It has been linked to the development of acute leukemias bearing translocations of the Mixed Lineage Leukemia (MLL) gene. Unlike other histone lysine methyltransferases, DOT1L does not contain a SET domain. Studies suggest that recombinant DOT1L is active on recombinant nucleosomes.
DescriptionMouse monoclonal antibody raised against a partial recombinant DOT1L, clone 6A6.
