BackgroundPRDM13, also known as PFM10, is an amino acid protein belonging to the PRDM family. This gene localizes to the nucleus and is thought to be involved in transcriptional regulation. Four C2H2-type zinc fingers and one SET domain make up this protein which is believed to act as a tumor suppressor.
